What is the address of the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery (SVNC)?
5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA. 95620
Do we need to bring our own boughs?
NO. The boughs are all delivered in advance of the event and will be provided for you.
Is it possible to pick up a bough for a close friend or family member early to take to the cemetery so we can place it ourselves?

For families wanting a more private placement, that information is on the Home page and Bough Laying page

YES. Families are encouraged to attend this very memorable event.
How much is it to sponsor a bough?
The boughs cost us about $7 each, but whatever you are able to donate is greatly appreciated.
Can you provide grave specific bough designation for our contribution?
YES. Should we not be able to cover the entire cemetery, and you have provided the necessary information to us in advance, we will make sure that your request is honored.

NO. The event will go on...rain or shine...on its designated date.
What day is the bough clean-up?
Boughs will be left out for four weeks and this year the clean-up day is Saturday, January 11, 2025, starting at 7:30 AM. Volunteers may bring a pole or dowel to work in pairs and string boughs on them for easy pick up. Or, bring a wagon. Boughs are hauled out to the curb. We will need volunteers with pick-ups and trailers to haul boughs to on-site dumpsters. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and this usually takes 90 minutes or so; no sign-up required, just show up!
Are you the same as Wreaths Across America?
NO. We are a local grassroots organization that only purchases boughs and serves the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. WAA is a national group that supplies wreaths to many veterans' cemeteries across the country.
Can we be added to the email list to receive regular updates about this annual project?
YES. Send your request to wreathproject@yahoo.com to be added to the list.
